Flights
Earn Enrich Points when you fly with Malaysia Airlines and the following airline partners:
- Finnair
- Firefly
- Iberia
- Japan Airlines
- KLM
- LATAM Airlines
For flights with Malaysia Airlines, accrual rate depends on the value of the paid ticket. The baseline rate is 1 Enrich Point for every 1 MYR, plus your status points bonus.
Partner airline flights earn Enrich Points based on distance flown, fare class, and status.
Other Ways
You can also earn Enrich Points by:
- Booking accommodation via Enrich Hotels, Agoda, or Trip.com.
- Booking accommodation directly with Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Langham Hospitality Group, Radisson Hotel Group, Worldhotels, Melia Hotels & Resorts, or Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts.
- Booking a rental car with Avis, Budget, Hertz, or Sixt.
- Shopping online at Akruu.
There are even more ways to rack up on Enrich Points, but they’re not very relevant to U.S. residents.
Redeeming Enrich Points
Most Enrich members use their points for award flights with Malaysia and partner airlines. The program utilizes a region-based award chart for Malaysia Airlines flights, and a zone-based award chart for partner flights. Have a look at the Malaysia Airlines award chart in detail here, and the partner award chart here.
You can also redeem your Enrich Points for:
- Class upgrades, excess baggage and in-flight shopping.
- Vouchers to access Golden Lounge or The Lounge at SkyPark.
- Hotel stays via Enrich Hotels.
Sure, Enrich provides other redemption options, but they’re not very pertinent to Americans.
Enrich Points Expiration
Enrich Points expire at the end of the month, plus an additional three years. For example, Enrich Points credited to your account on June 21, 2021 will expire on June 30, 2024.
As we mentioned before, Enrich Platinum members’ points do not expire.

Bottom Line
Malaysia Airlines Enrich isn’t the most valuable frequent flyer program out there, but it does have some great features. Transfer partners are at the top of the list, followed by plenty of deals and promotions to take advantage of. That said, we would be happier if Malaysia Airlines provided more ways to earn and burn Enrich Points.
If you often fly to Asia, you might want to consider ANA, Asiana and Singapore Airlines as well.
