Earning Wyndham Rewards Points
How many Wyndham points will you earn on hotel stays? That depends on your Wyndham Rewards member status:

Book a Go Fast award stay with a combination of points and cash, and earn 10x Wyndham points.
Earn 10x Wyndham points, or 1,000 points (whichever is greater), on qualifying stays at 30+ Caesars Entertainment destinations.
Earn 10x Wyndham points when you book Go For It experiences and activities, like:
- Live performances
- Wine tastings
- Food tours
- Outdoor excursions
Earn multiple Wyndham points for every dollar spent at partner retailer sites via the Wyndham Rewards online shopping portal.

Earn 1x Wyndham point for meeting or event expenses. That includes meeting rooms, hotel rooms and related charges. Paying hotel guests attending your event who are Wyndham Rewards members will still earn points on their stay.
Earn 100 Wyndham points per Avis or Budget car rental per day, when you apply your Wyndham Rewards number to the reservation. You’ll also enjoy a 30% rate discount.
Earn 250 Wyndham points for every DoorDash food delivery order. If you’re new to DoorDash, you’ll earn 2,000 bonus points after placing your first order. Plus, deliveries to Wyndham properties are free if you use the code WRD.
Earn 2 Wyndham points per gallon of gas at Marathon-branded gas stations. To qualify, you need to participate in MakeItCount, Marathon’s fuel rewards program.
You’ll also save $0.05 on every gallon, everyday.
Earn Wyndham points for participating on Opinion Rewards Panel. You’ll get 500 points for joining and completing your first survey. The amount of points you’ll earn on subsequent surveys varies.
If you’re short on Wyndham points, purchase them in increments of 1,000 points for $13. You can buy a maximum of 10,000 points in one calendar year.
Redeeming Wyndham Rewards Points
Wyndham points expire after 18 months of inactivity. And all points expire 48 months after they’re earned, regardless of account activity. So make sure to use them!
This year, Wyndham Rewards changed its award structure from a flat redemption rate for all properties to tiered award pricing. Previously, you would need 15,000 points for a free night at any Wyndham Rewards property.
Rebranded as Go Free awards, free award nights will now cost you:

You can also transfer one Wyndham Rewards point for one Reward Credit with Caesars Rewards. Reward Credits can be redeemed for free play at any Caesars Rewards casino, gourmet meals at any Caesars restaurant, or tickets to Caesars shows and performances.
Wyndham Rewards Tips & Trick
Wyndham Vacation Club. Almost all of the 150 Vacation Club properties are priced at 15,000 Wyndham points per night, including one-bedroom suites. Of note are the five Wyndham Vacation Club properties in Hawaii and Wyndham Park City in Utah.
Condos & Vacation Homes. In just three years, Wyndham has added 20,000 condos and vacation homes to Wyndham Rewards. All properties are just 15,000 Wyndham points per night per bedroom. So a one-bedroom condo or home will cost you 15,000 points per night, while two-bedroom properties are priced at 30,000. And so on.
Disney World. Although not official Disney partner hotels, Wyndham has properties near Disney World. If you’re looking for a place to stay near the park, these will do just fine starting at only 7,500 Wyndham points per night.
Every once in awhile, Wyndham runs special promotions that offers limited-time discounts or bonus points. Make sure to opt in on Wyndham Rewards emails and keep an eye out for those deals and steals.
Match your current status from another hotel loyalty program to Wyndham Rewards. After you’re matched, you’ll need the following number of qualified nights to maintain your Wyndham Rewards status.

If you’re not into earning Wyndham points, you can choose to earn miles instead, with the following partner loyalty programs:

Alternative to Wyndham Rewards
Wyndham Rewards offer some nice perks. However, luxury travelers might want to think twice before going onboard with the loyalty program. There aren’t that many premium properties to choose from. And the elite status program is pretty weak. If you’re looking for top-notch stays and more VIP perks, you’ll want to have a look at other hotel loyalty programs – like Hilton Honors – instead.

Wyndham Rewards used to beat to their own drum, charging a flat award rate of 15,000 Wyndham points for a free night across all properties. But this year, that changed. Along with tiered award pricing, Wyndham welcomed the integration of over 900 La Quinta hotels as well as additional ways to earn and burn your Wyndham points.
