Chase and Amazon have announced new benefits and features for their Prime Visa and Amazon Visa credit card portfolios.
Cardmembers can now earn more cash back on purchases made through Chase Travel and local transit/commuting, as well as receive daily rewards and new card designs.
- Update 7/5/2023: The Amazon Prime Visa card now has a $200 bonus instantly upon approval.
- Update 6/29/2023: Updates on sign up bonuses for cards. From June 29th through July 26, 2023, Amazon Prime members can apply for the Chase Amazon Prime Rewards Visa card and receive an instant $200 Amazon gift card bonus upon approval.

New Card Names
The Amazon Visa cards have been given new names: Prime Visa and Amazon Visa. Prime Visa is the card for Amazon Prime members, and Amazon Visa is for everyone else.
More Cash Back Opportunities
Both Prime Visa and Amazon Visa cardmembers can now earn even more cash back on their purchases. When using Chase Travel, which is Chase’s new and improved travel booking platform, Prime Visa cardmembers can earn 5% back and Amazon Visa cardmembers can earn 3% back. Additionally, cardmembers can earn 2% back on local transit and commuting, which includes rideshare services like Uber and Lyft.
Daily Rewards
With the introduction of daily rewards, cardmembers can now earn, view, and redeem their rewards earned on their card every day. This is a new feature that replaces the old monthly reward system.
Earn More on Amazon Purchases
Prime Visa cardmembers will continue to earn an uncapped 5% back on Amazon purchases, on top of the savings, convenience, and entertainment that comes with Prime in one, single membership. Meanwhile, Amazon Visa cardmembers will receive 3% back on Amazon purchases.
New Card Designs
Finally, the Amazon Visa cards have also been given a fresh new look. The new designs are sleek and modern and feature the new card names.
